Our Quality
BROS is a family-owned and operated restaurant with two Outer Banks locations: Avon and Nags Head, NC. We've never been interested in shortcuts, which is why it's our pleasure to serve you food we're truly proud of.
Most of our sauces are made from scratch in our kitchen, including our signature cheese sauce, built on a base of shredded smoked gouda. All bread is toasted with real butter. Our seasonings are proprietary blends we developed ourselves, ground to specific granule sizes and manufactured to our exact recipe.
We start with high-quality fresh-ground chuck, never frozen, never pre-pressed. Patties are hand-formed fresh every single day, seasoned just before they hit the grill, and cooked to order: thick, juicy, and served on a butter-toasted bun from Costanzo's Bakery in Buffalo, NY, a family bakery that's been making bread for nearly a century. Every detail adds up.
Extra thick, hand-spun, loaded with flavor, and topped with real whipped cream. They're worth it.
Fresh, never-frozen chicken breasts. Each one is hand-trimmed (cartilage removed) and hand-butterflied, then brined for a full 24 hours before it ever sees the grill. That brine is the reason our chicken stays extra juicy all the way through. Seasoned with our house blend and cooked to order.
We start with fresh pork shoulder, crosshatch the surface, apply a dry rub, roast it, smoke it, then slow-cook it for six hours. It's not a quick process. That's the point.
Our jumbo wings are dry-rubbed and smoke-roasted in-house for real flavor and char, then fried to order, crispy on the outside, juicy and smoky on the inside.
Our steak is cut, dry-rubbed, and smoke-roasted entirely in-house, always sliced across the grain so every bite stays tender.
